How to Order Zee Purlins

1. Purlin Profile

The shape of Zee Purlins resembles the letter "Z," with two flanges (or lips) connected by a vertical section. The flanges are the horizontal parts that provide strength and rigidity, while the vertical section acts as a connecting member.

Zee Purlins are available in different sizes and thicknesses to accommodate varying loads and span lengths. The selection of the appropriate purlin profile depends on factors such as roof or wall design, wind and snow loads, and the overall structural requirements of the building.

2. Gauge

How thick do you need your material?

We offer a variety of gauges for our custom-made purlins to cater to different structural requirements. You can choose from the following available gauges: 10GA, 12GA, 14GA, and 16GA. These gauges are carefully selected to ensure the strength and stability of your roofing or structural systems. By providing multiple gauge options, we aim to provide you with the flexibility to select the most appropriate purlins that align with your project specifications and desired level of durability.

We offer custom-made purlins with a wide range of length options to meet your specific project requirements. Our purlins can be manufactured starting from a minimum length of 6 feet and up to a maximum length of 63 feet, depending on the gauge. This range provides versatility for your roofing and structural system designs, ensuring optimal performance and durability.

Please note: Purlins over 50 feet in length may require special transportation arrangements. Contact us to discuss logistics for your longer purlins.

5. Punch

Punch or No Punch Purlin Option

We offer the flexibility of producing purlins with or without punches to cater to different construction project needs. For punched purlins, we can provide up to 100 punches per piece, with strategically placed holes or slots for easy installation and attachment of accessories. Unpunched purlins remain available for maximum versatility in on-site adjustments. Our goal is to accommodate a wide range of requirements, ensuring you have the ideal purlins to suit your project.
